Last Sunday, Dec. 12, Bo broke his bone in his big toe. Apparently, he was carrying something down the stairs and thought there was another step of the landing before going down the stairs. There wasn't. He fell down the last half of the stairs and broke his toe.
Here is the x-ray of his toe for those of you who are interested. You can see on the center big bone the curved crack that comes in from the upper right side and curves down in towrad the center. I think Bo's favorite part was seeing the x-ray.
He was in some serious pain for the first few days, and they wanted him to wear a big boot, which he wore to school all week. His toe is feeling much better now, and we took the boot off. It is amazing how quickly kids can heal! Thank heaven!
