Wax Museum

In 6th Grade at our Intermediate School, there is a fun event called Wax Museum (see Boston as Einstein in post 2 years ago).  It follows the Language Arts section on bigraphies.  Each student picks a person from history and spends a few weeks reading, learning, and writing about that person.  Then there is a day when they then dress up as them and are "statues" in a wax museum.  They freeze in a pose (this was Brock's), and then when you come up and step on a button they "come to life" and tell you about who they are.  Brock chose John Lennon, and this is what he would look like as a hippie. :)
Brock had a blast doing it.  This is a picture of his class, which included famous athletes, an astronaut, George Washington, Daniel Boone, Leonardo diVinci, and even Vera Wang.
