This year's reflection's theme was "Magic of the Moment". Britton took a picture of the moment that the evening sun shines off the mountain. He took it off of our deck and it was beautiful. His picture won at the school and will go on to district.
Britton was excited about the blue ribbon, but was mostly excited about the candy bar he got, which apparently was his motivation for participating! :)
I just stuck this picture of Britton in here. He wanted me to take a picture of his leg behind his head so he could look back and see it in the future.
Braden also entered Reflections this year. He wrote a musical piece that he called "Overature No. 13", in honor of the 13th year he has participated. Yes, 13 years. It is a multi-instrument piece and he recorded himself playing all of the parts. His school results are in a couple of weeks.
