With Braden and Boston in Costa Rica for Spring Break, we took the rest of the family to California. We love California. We went to Legoland, where the Harry Potter guys were Bo's favorite.
The boys had fun on the rides, but mostly wanted to see the Star Wars land and the Miniland.
We stayed in Oceanside and the boys had fun playing on the beach and the rocks.
We spent some time in Old Town and went to the Mormon Battalion Museum (again). Brock got to dress up as the soldier this time!
The boys panned for gold, made bricks, and had all of the fun yo can have there.
We enjoyed some mexican food and some beautiful scenery in Old Town.
We took the boys to Knott's Berry Farm. They had fun, but in a weird twist, we found Scott and Kim going on a couple of the rides while the boys sat and waited. They weren't fans of some of the big rides!
They were, however, fans of the funnel cake.
We made a visit to the gorgeous San Diego temple after church on Sunday. This picture just about says it all! Beautiful.
We went to Cabrillo National Monument on the other side of Coronado. It was a beautiful site and cemetery.
We spent a cloudy day at Newport Beach,
but the boys till managed to have a great time.
And then we spent a nice, sunny day at Coronado beach, one of our favorite places!
Goodbye until next time, San Diego! I'm sure it won't be long.
