Braden tried out and made the yearly Honor Band. It is an honor (just like the name says) to be in it with some kids from all of the high schools in Washington County. They had practices at the college for two days straight and then performed in Cox Auditorium on Saturday night. He played percussion, and was able to play several different instruments, his favorite being the timpani.
Our whole family went to watch and I have to say it was really cool being at a concert that was AWESOME! It really was several notches above a regular high school concert. Very exciting night. Loved the songs.
Braden got to be in it with his best friend, Cody, which made it even funner!
