It is so fun (for me) to have a child in 11th grade. He gets to read all of that great literature that comes with the grade. This is a picture of him and a boy in one of his classes who made these shirts in conjunction with a report on The Scarlet Letter.
I try to read what my boys read for school, and am currently trying to catch up with Braden, who in the last few months has read The Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter, Catcher in the Rye, To Kill A Mockingbird, and many other great books. It is so fun to re-read them and talk with him about them. I guess I finally found a way to relive my youth vicariously through my children! :)
