Braden had a great time at Prom with his friend Elle Cain. Her mom was kind enough to send me some pictures, since I never actually saw them! Braden had a great time!
Elle's mom was friends/roommates with Scott's sister in college. We knew her mom and dad a little through Scott's sister. When we moved to St. George, we found out that the Cains also lived in St. George where the father, Larry was a family practice doctor. We have gone to Larry for our doctor for 8 years. Larry and Scott have also worked together a little. Imagine our surprise when Braden came home and said he had asked Elle Cain to Jr. Prom. What a small world! She is a beautiful girl and they are a great family.
The funniest part about this story is that Braden asked her on a Friday. On Monday, a few days later, he had a tennis spring sports physical scheduled with Larry Cain. Imagine his horror when he realized that her dad would be giving him a physical - and I mean the WHOLE physical! It was pretty funny and they (doctor and patient) both had a good sense of humor about it. My dad never got to know any of my dates THAT well! :)
