We spent a couple of days in San Francisco, doing touristy things. We drove down Lombard Street,
drove down streets that look like this,
and, of course, went to Ghirardelli Square. When we were contemplating whether or not to take a trolley ride, Bo let us know that he would much rather spend that money on chocolate. So we did. :)
Bo still says that the Chocolate factory was the best part of the whole trip. I don't know why it was so much better in California that from the grocery store, but apparently it was!
Another unexpected highlight was a new maritime museum that wasn't there the last time we were. It had a really well-done museum on the history of San Fancisco Bay and even had some real ships that the boys could go in. They always love that!
And, of course, we had to go down to Fisherman's Wharf
and get some chowder and seafood! YUM!
