Monterey

We had the pleasure of spending the last four days of the trip in Monterey.  The nearby condo was nice and private and right on the beach.  It had a very warm pool and a great big hot tub and that is where my boys spent as much time as they could. 

 These two pictures are of a sport that Scott and the boys called "Full Water Jousting".  We had three "horses" and three riders who tried to knock each other off. Britton said he was "schooling" everyone, but it might have something to do with his horse...  They had so much fun, that is, until the horses were just too worn out and sore! 

 We visited the Monterey Bay, with all of its ships and sea otters.  Britton found out he loves calamari, and when I told him it was squid he got excited and said that penguins eat squid, so it was only appropriate that he did, too.

 We visited the shops on John Steinbeck's Cannery Row and bought some more must-have souvenirs.
